Judy Lynne Cole The REAL DaVinci Code One of the quotes of Leonardo DaVinci was "Let no man who is not a mathematician view my works." Leonardo hid in his paintings in plain sight, via sacred geometry, lissajous figures, gematria and geometria, the mathematical secrets of ancient planetary religions as well as those of Christianity. By combining information from old art and looking at it scientifically, new art has been formed which is both ecletic and syncretic. This lecture will probably leave you wondering, as does the presenter, whether or not Leonardo DaVinci was a synesthete who saw the electromagnetic sound field around living beings. Yes - it is yet another DaVinci Code and This time it IS for real AND
It IS all about the Unified Field. Artist Lecture

Cameron K. (fee based) Because of the visions of Elena and Aleta, one of our artists for this show, Cameron K., will be doing a mirror reverse of several of their concepts by taking my sonic algorithm and building the pattern into baskets, weavings, mosaics and stained glass art. Artist Lecture Andre' Kiner While we do not yet have all the details figured out, dancer and dance instructor, Andre Kiner, will be utilizing The K.I.S.S. Laser as a tool for the creation of his own choreography with at least one of his magnificent dance performances for this SONIC ART show. Artist Lecture Judy Lynne Cole (fee based) Judy will be teaching a workshop series (fee based)on how to see the art from the mathematics of a song and how to see the musical notes of a painting. Class sizes will be limited to seven participants each. Artists and composers are asked to bring in two samples of their work and to provide advance digital copies of their work to Judy. |
SUPER SONIC ART SHOW
This sonic art show was the original brain child of Elena Becks and Aleta Hayes back when both were involved with The Committee on Black Performing Arts and Institute for Diversity In the Arts with Stanford University.
Elena's background education includes archaeology and anthropology. Aleta Hayes is a contemporary dancer, choreographer, performer, and teacher. Both women are artistic visionaries who know how to reach diverse cultures through innovative educational courses and events that combine cultural and performance history, theory, and performance. Although both my partner, Tom Myers, and our audio engineer, Bob Phillips, saw my sonic algorithms' oscillography images as art, I saw them only as science. Having no formal educational art training, and certainly no training in anthropology, of course I saw what I was creating as science: the media utilized were sound, math, oscilloscopes, and lasers. Yes, I was obviously blindfolded and had hold of just one leg of that enormous elephant in the room... After attending one of my lectures in Mountainview, Elena Becks and Aleta Hayes invited me to come to Stanford University for a meeting. In Harmony House, around the large conference table, they proceeded to give me one of those California style aha moments which lasted for many, many months. Their concept was for me to curate (in 2008 for 2009 and 2010) a series of programs and research projects at Stanford University along with them for ultimate events through their Diversity in the Arts program. The concept had four inter-related projects, which to most, would not appear to be connected at all. One of the other projects was to be intertwined with the California Heritage Indigenous Research Project (CHIRP) which is the ongoing exploration of the indigenous tribes of California. Aleta Hayes would be teaching and leading her dancers in the depiction of the songs I was to decipher from the study of indigenous forms of art - paintings, weavings, baskets, etc. The deciphered mathematical patterns of the indigenous art were to be composed as songs, which would then be run through the K.I.S.S. laser to create the structure of the choreography for the dancers to portray the art in an isomorphic sound and dance performance. The fourth project was the water testing with my already composed and recorded mathematical algorithms, beginning with Healix: The Music of the Spheres, Mirror One, version two. This algorithm was already built as sound and being employed in San Francisco Bay aboard a little sailboat with a big heart named, appropriately, Spirit. The original concept for the sonic art show, ultimately, was for the curated show to travel from community to community, uniting individuals and communities through the power of sound depicted as art and of art depicted as sound. That original concept holds true today. Just as we were preparing for grant writing for all four projects, Elena ended up taking early retirement to be able to further help her mother, whose health was fragile. Elena and David "Tex" Houston (yes, he is a descendant of Sam) took the initial water testing private, along with Clark Dunson. Elena challenged me to take her concept for the SONIC ART Show public. The Universe tossed us a loopy curve ball, time and space got a bit bent, but the right place is Wunderkammer in Fort Wayne, Indiana and the right time is NOW! So - it has taken us 10 years to get back into the planning phase ... and we need YOUR help to get THIS SHOW launched here and then ready to go on the road! Maybe the second stop will be Stanford University? |
Wunderkammer Art Gallery
CALL FOR PARTICIPATING SONIC ARTISTS and MUSICIANS: This is a Call to sponsors and musicians for participation and to artists for entries of all media forms, including: 1-dimensional, 2-dimensional and 3-dimensional artwork There are specific requirements for the sonic art: The subject must be related to sound or music. We are surrounded by sound ALL the time. Some of that sound is relaxing, calming, stimulating, engaging, enlightening and subliminal. Some of that sound is disruptive, over stimulating, hazardous, subliminal, and dichotic. Preferential acceptance will be given to artists with supporting pieces that are disability(differently abled) friendly, interactive sculptures and which is related to the SONIC ART research of the curators in sound coherence. During opening, closing, sound healing events and lectures/classes of related programming content throughout the exhibit, interaction with the sound producing sculptures will be limited. Times for interaction will be posted here. Why? Our intention is to create a calming environment with Omnipresent sound, not a dichotic mixture of sound pressure waves that are uncomfortable. Yes, this is difficult in a SONIC environment, but we believe it is doable with enough volunteers and the right timing. Much of the SONIC art is derived from the mathematics built as hertz from Magical Squares and from The Golden Right Triangle Phi Progression, but also includes hertz created from the use of sacred numbers from Gematria and Geometria. Wunderkammer will receive 30% and the curator will receive 5% of the proceeds of all art sold through this gallery. Submission fee: $10.00 for 1-11 entries. Entries can be made digitally to: sonformula@hotmail.com with payment via check or money order to Wunderkammer and notated Cole/SUPER Sonic Art Show. Artists are responsible for all shipping, handling and insurance to Wunderkammer and for the return of any unsold art. All original art pieces, regardless of purchase, must remain on exhibit during the entire exhibition time of August 4th through September 23rd, 2018. Copies of prints and recordings available will be able to go home with the art connosieur at the time of purchase. For lists of participants to date, see below left for Participating Artists and below right for Participating Musicians. The Super Sonic Art Show

Above, the 18 character number set known to many as Solfeggio (which simply means scale)is highlighted in Blue. We refer to this particular number set as The ZOBET and as the fundamental frequencies of our DVD as "Mirror One" of the "Healix: The Music of the Spheres" series of recordings and resulting artwork.
Judy, Tommy, Tom and Bob's sonic research has revealed that much of the ancient religious iconography appears to have been created with sound.
This discovery has the potential to be a great unifier among diverse people of different cultures. For centuries, artists have drawn from the rich imagery and symbolism rooted in indigenous Aztec traditions as well as the symbolism of Christianity and Catholicism of the Spanish conquistadors. Imagine, if you can, what profound information you could receive from viewing the impact of sound on air, water, lycopodium powder, or by seeing what sound through fruit juice could reveal! Above:

This SONIC ART exhibit will be filled with excellent art for two months. The dates will be sprinkled throughout with educational and entertaining events. There will be publications for sale that explore the art, spirituality and health connection.
Sonic art and spiritual art as visual, literary or performing art flows from spiritual practice. The goal is to connect the audience with Spirit, and create spiritual awakening, healing, or evolution. Art is a common ground of human expression. This series of exhibits and events will, through the venue of Wunderkammer's wonderful space, be a place where artists and audiences of diverse spiritual traditions and different levels of health can give honor to each other, share their personal experiences with sound and explore their collective experiences of the spiritual aspect of life through the arts. TO BE ANNOUNCED
A magic square is said to be bimagic (or 2-multimagic) if it remains magic after each of its numbers is replaced by its square. A German naturalized Frenchman Georges Pfeffermann, built the first bimagic square in 1890. Rather than publishing it completely, he proposed it partially, in the form of a puzzle, in the fortnightly magazine Les Tablettes du Chercheur - Journal des Jeux d'Esprit et de Combinaisons, number 2, January 15, 1891. Here is the square as it was published at that time. It is up to you to complete it with the remainder of the 64 numbers in order to obtain a bimagic square! Hint: the sums of the rows, columns and diagonals of the 8th-order square (n=8) have to equal 260 (=n(n²+1)/2), and the sums when the numbers are squared have to equal 11,180 (=n(n²+1)(2n²+1)/6). 1890: First known multimagic square (8th-order bimagic of Georges Pfeffermann) Game: complete the missing numbers 1890: First known multimagic square (8th-order bimagic of Pfeffermann) TGame: complete the missing numbers |
