Hiding and Mountain Goat Abilities
We found out, early on, that Rigley liked to hide when he wanted an undisturbed nap.
Rigley had inborn mountain goat tendencies and could climb chain link fences lickety split. Sometimes he would combine these two talents, especially if warm and clean laundry right out of the dryer was available. |
Challenger of Ps
Rigley challenged pitbulls and postmen, which were both hard on Mom’s body and his. Rigley just purred Mom (Judy) back into proper resonance after both had copious amounts of chiropractic care and had removed their also copious amounts of pepper spray.
Gwendra had taught Rigley the essentials of mail destruction early on, which gave them both joy over the years. The technique also helped to recycle junk mail into much smaller pieces, thereby speeding decomposition. Getting mail service restored was yet another trial and tribulation – requiring about 6 weeks and a new, custom-built cedar door. Rigley did not know he was small and lived large as a result of his belief, often letting his mouth overload his ass and involving Mom in the rescue operation. I think he was trying to teach me something… He definitely taught us all, a LOT! Especially about love, timing and being a master at seizing the moment, loyalty, forgiveness, and joy. |
Gardening
Rigley and Buddy are excellent gardeners who believe “In the garden is where you relax, connect, and grow relationships" and great, heirloom, organic food.
Rigley was expert at helping to dig holes, compost turning, fertilization and urine therapy of the soil was his gift. The dogs were always perplexed and frustrated about the poop patrols. They could not comprehend why we were removing fresh, organic dog droppings. We explained it was a government regulation. They argued that some laws need to be changed. We agreed. Poop patrol, however, was non-negotiable. Rigley was relieved to see Penelope arrive to help in the garden as there is always soooo much to be done. |
Rigley exited this dimension on a King of Diamonds day. He was the King and held his position of power, as ruler of our hearts, every second he was physically with us. Rest in Peace Rigley. Thank you for sharing your life with us.
